Intro Capoeira

No previous experience is needed and all ability levels are welcome in our intro Capoeira program. We will begin by showing you the basics of the art form – the movement, music, history, and language that makes the game, and begin to work on your strength and flexibility.  In just a few classes you will be able to play in the Roda.

Our next Introductory course starts on February 5th, 2026 and offers new students 8 classes for only $85. The course classes are held Thursdays 8:30pm-9:30pm, and Sundays 11am-12pm. Students are welcome to join our Sunday roda at 12pm.

No uniform is necessary for your first classes. Please wear comfortable clothing that stretches easily with your movement and stays put if you are upside down. After two months, beginners are required to purchase uniforms (shirt and pants).
