Do people get hurt while playing Capoeira?
Capoeira involves occasional contact during games through strikes and take-downs. We train to ensure we have precision so that strikes and take-downs are delivered with purpose, caution and control. Once a Roda is underway it is up to each capoeirista to decide what kind of game they are comfortable playing and to leave any game where that comfort level is exceeded.
